New service just opened with Council funding (after CAB in Cardiff lost their Legal Aid funding as did Speakeasy, only because LA thought there were too many suppliers)

This is also the building of Cardiff Council Trading Standards Department , which deals with consumer issues and investigates shoddy work by local businesses.
Drop-In Sessions from 9.30 – 12 noon Monday to Friday for all legal problems (Appointments can be made in the afternoons after details taken in Drop-In sessions).
Service is so recent, not yet got their telephones .

More specialised advice on Welfare Benefits and Housing Law for people who qualify for Legal Aid (clarified at a Drop-In session). Housing Law means mortgage re-possessions, Tenancy possession proceedings, Disrepair situations of Council, Social Housing and Private Landlord tenants).

Free Employment Clinic held fortnightly on Wednesdays 6.00-8.00p.m . Ring to clarify next session and confirm intention to attend (with City Employment lawyers acting on a pro bono basis).
